I needed to be able to easily change settings and styles on my modules for the different 9d sites and Module Builder was a way to generated my own module and then create custom table structures and styles to match my sites. I am currently using MB generated modules on 3 live sites all with different looks. The generated modules settings have drop-down lists with all the fields, the intrinsic DotNetNuke data tags (ie. PortalName, paths, userinfo etc) , another drop-down with HTML tags and lastly a drop-down with code snippets to generate table code or grids/grids selectable.
